THAT PICTURE OF ME WHEN I WAS FOUR

Having an early memory is something I have always been proud of and one memory I wish I could let go of is one picture taken in when I was four.
I sat there in my blue and white pinafore with the ruffles at the neck of the garment and smiled. I was feeling good that day and felt it would be a good picture, but when it came back I was angry. It was all wrong!
Pictures then were black and white, but mine had been water colored, as requested by Mother. The picture was good, but the white lace at the collar was colored yellow. Why Yellow?
